BEAUTIFUL, FORAGED CENTERPIECES FOR THANKSGIVING
The Nature of Things Fine Flowers designing at The Abbey at Evergreen.
The Nature of Things Fine Flowers recently received a beautiful gift of garden clippings from Pearl Hollow, a charming vintage trailer Airbnb nestled in Riverside’s greenbelt. Pearl Hollow is known for its lush, natural surroundings, offering a variety of unique, locally grown plants and flowers. These hand-selected clippings brought a touch of Pearl Hollow’s garden beauty to The Nature of Things Fine Flowers, inspiring new arrangements with an authentic Riverside essence.
With these fresh clippings, Dawn, the founder of The Nature of Things, designed a series of enchanting tablescapes at The Abbey at Evergreen, a historic venue in Downtown Riverside. Known for her artistic floral vision, Dawn curated each tablescape to reflect the organic feel of the Pearl Hollow gardens, blending rustic elegance with refined details. She paired the clippings with seasonal blooms, lush greenery, and delicate accents to create centerpieces that brought the spirit of Riverside’s greenbelt indoors. Each table was a beautiful tribute to the natural beauty of Pearl Hollow, capturing an inviting ambiance perfect for intimate gatherings or grand events.
Throughout the design process, Dawn had the sweet companionship of her beloved pets. Her curious cat, Charlie, watched intently, adding a touch of feline charm to the studio. Her dogs, Cooper the Bassett and Mabel the Pit Bull, loyally stayed by her side, lending their gentle energy to the creative atmosphere. With this loving audience, Dawn turned the gift of Pearl Hollow’s clippings into a masterpiece of nature-inspired decor, showcasing The Nature of Things’ dedication to crafting floral artistry that connects deeply with the local landscape.
